Nine Teams went looking for the magic Tonic of wind on Friday night, hoping for that Euphoric feeling of riding a steady breeze to victory in the 2nd Annual Mudnight Madness Overnight.  However, fickle mother nature proved again She's The Boss and decided the night was not a night for Dark n' Stormy.  In a light breeze, our Intrepid explorers set off toward Cerberus Shoal and wondered how they would make the Quantum Leap to N4 off Block Island's SW corner.  The ebb tide was with them for a few hours, but soon it turned Defiant and anchor's were deployed by some.  It must have felt like a Looney Tunes cartoon rather than a sailboat race.  In the end, 7 of the 9 found the Remedy to finish and all await the prize giving on Wednesday night, July 9th at the Mid Season party.  See the results here and make plans for next year's Mudnight Madness Overnight.  It will try your soul and lift your spirits and give you a complete understanding of the extremes of mother nature.
